The shares of the penny stock company specializing in a comprehensive ecosystem of drone solutions, including advanced training (pilot, building, cinematography), surveys, and data processing, jumped upto 2 percent upon receiving a work order from the Indian Army (Ministry of Defence).

With a market capitalization of 136.74 Crores on Tuesday, the shares of Droneacharya Aerial Innovations Ltd jumped upto 2.1 percent, reaching a high of Rs. 57.40 compared to its previous close of Rs. 56.19.

What Happened

Droneacharya Aerial Innovations Ltd, engaged in a comprehensive ecosystem of drone solutions, including advanced training (pilot, building, cinematography), surveys, and data processing, has received work orders worth Rs. 7.12 crores from the Indian Army (Ministry of Defence) 

The order is for the supply of First Person View (FPV) drones. The company’s FPV Digital and FPV Analogue drones were the only systems to successfully meet all technical and operational requirements during the Army’s trials. 

Following this, the Indian Army increased the order by 25% due to the drones’ superior performance, reliability, and quality. The drones are designed for long-range operations with secure real-time video transmission, precision payload delivery, and dual safety mechanisms. 

The project is expected to boost DroneAcharya’s growth, strengthen its order book, and enhance its position in India’s defence technology sector, with full delivery scheduled within four months.

Financial & Others

The company’s revenue declined by 43 percent from Rs. 14 crore in March 2024  to Rs. 8 crore in March 2025. Meanwhile, the Net profit from a profit of Rs. 2 crores turned to a loss of  Rs. 15 crores during the same period.
