For instance, you came across this trading pair BTC\/USDT. This means that Bitcoin is traded against USDT, a stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar. The first asset (BTC) is what you are buying, whereas the second asset (USDT) is what you are selling or paying with. After you have made up your mind to buy or sell any specific assets, select the order type and enter the amount that you want to trade with.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-order-books-and-order-types\"><strong>Order books and order types<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Order books refer to the list of bids and asks placed by traders at various prices and amounts. If a bid matches an ask, the orders will get executed automatically.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two main order types are Market and limit orders. Market orders refers to those orders where buying and selling takes place immediately at the best possible price. Since these contracts are executed on the spot, they do not have any expiry dates or any ongoing contract obligation. It is calculated as a percentage of the trade value (usually 0.1% to 0.5%). You need to make the payment immediately at the same time. Upon the processing of payment, you can own 1 BTC. After 1 month, you noticed that 1 BTC became USD 90,000.
