1. War 2

As a sequel to the highly successful film War the expectations from fans were really high. Even though the film had a decent global gross but keeping in check how much the approximate budget of the film was – the verdict was a disaster.

Trade analysts cited the massive production and promotion costs as the primary reason for its financial failure relative to its investment.

Disclaimer: “Flop” or “Disaster” statuses are determined when box office earnings do not cover the full cost of production and distribution. Budgets and collections are often estimated and can be verified on industry tracking websites such as Koimoi and Sacnilk.

Conclusion

These films are prime examples that no matter how high the budget is the actual judge is the audience. Even with a mega star cast these films struggled to get even half of the budget spent. The audience in the modern era asked for a relatable story regardless of the budget and the star. This is the era where viewers want to see something authentic and new that will resonate.
