The announcement of Bigg Boss Malayalam season 7 winner and runner ups has surely been the talk of the town. The winning TV actress Anumol was seen proudly waving the trophy as her name was called out as the crowned winner.
Aneesh who entered the Big Boss house as a commoner made his name as the first runner-up in this season. Other three runners up were Shanavas, Nevin and Akbar. Let us break down the list of runner ups and their prizes and ofcourse all about the winner Anumol.
The Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 Winner
Before entering the house of Bigg Boss Anumol was a grand household name in Kerala and also in other parts of the nation. Her successful career from Aniyathi and Paadatha Painkili already had earned her fans who supported her endlessly. However, her performance in the tasks also proved that she had the potentiality to prove herself whenever the situation demanded.
As for her prize she took home a brand new SUV, a trophy, and a cash prize of ₹42.5 lakh. The prize money was actually ₹50 lakh which many are confused now as to why the deductions. The answer is due to the in-house tasks which all the participants had participated in while in the show. This is why one of the runner-up took cash home(read below.)
The Runner-Ups of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7
First Runner-up: Aneesh Tharayil did not only become the first runner up but he also is the season’s first male “commoner” contestant who gained immense popularity due to his authentic portrayal of himself. He comes from a background of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He received ₹15 lakh cash prize, which wasn’t the prize but was because of his in-house task which he carefully played thus taking home the money at the end of the season.
Second Runner-up: Shanavas held the second runner-up position in the show. This made him officially in the third of overall competition. While not a cash prize, he indeed got a memorable gift from the host of the show Mohanlal. The promise to give Shanavas a “peck on the cheek” during the season was fulfilled at the finale. Thus, a sweet and adorable gift greater than any material.

Other Finalists
The remaining two finalists in the top 5 were Nevin and Akbar.

While the top three received official runner-up titles and received wider recognition. However, all five finalists were celebrated for making it to the end of the difficult and 100-day journey in the Bigg Boss Malayalam house.
