The event will take place outside India in an international venue. This final movie event marks a significant milestone for Vijay and his fans as he transitions his career from an actor to a full-time politician. When and where will be the last audio event?
The event is being held at Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This massive location is known for its global concerts and cultural shows. It can hold around 90,000 people which makes it ideal for this big-scale event. The audio launch is officially on 27 December 2025.
Malaysia is Vijay’s one of the largest fan bases outside India. He enjoys a strong and devoted following there. His last visit to Malaysia was three years ago and the local fans have been eagerly waiting for his return.
The audio launch announcement even included a tribute video that showed Malaysian fans talking about what Vijay means to them. Some called him “a brother”, some named his as a “true inspiration” while others shared their personal stories which further justifies why Vijay chose Malaysia.

What’s Happening At The Audio Launch
The makers have confirmed that Tippu, Saindhavi, and Anuradha Sriram will be performing at the audio launch. Their presence will be no less than a nostalgia as these singers have given iconic tracks in most of the previous movies of Vijay.
Jana Nayagan features music by Anirudh Ravichander, which marks the composer’s fifth collaboration with Vijay. Their previous albums: Kaththi, Master, Beast, and Leo, have delivered chart-topping, fan-favorite numbers. Expectations for this soundtrack are extremely high since it’s the final track of Vijay–Anirudh.

Directed by H. Vinoth, the film is being described as a powerful political-action drama mirroring Vijay’s real life shift into politics. The movie will hit the theatres on 9 January 2026, coinciding with the Pongal festival.
The title ‘Jana Nayagan’ means ‘people’s leader’ which highlights Vijay’s image both onscreen and as a new chapter of his life as a politician. The film will be a final salute to his cinematic legacy.
