Summary– Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani popularly known as ‘Orry’ has been summoned by the Mumbai Police in the case of narcotics investigation linked to the seizure of March 2024. The investigation is still going on. Police have summoned him as a part of verification and questioning and any type of charges on Orry have not been disclosed yet.
Famous for his photographs in celeb parties, Orhan Awatramani aka Orry is in trouble again. The famous Social media personality has recently made headlines after Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics cell summoned him reportedly for the investigation of a Rs 252 crore mephedrone drug seizure which happened last year.
The high-value investigation is a connection to last year’s raid in Sangil district, Maharashtra. Police seized approximately 126.14 kg of mephedrone (a compound of MD).
According to ANI, Orry is required to appear at the ANC’s Ghatkopar unit in Mumbai at 10:00 AM this week. Investigators claim Orry’s name with other party organisers surfaced during questioning of suspects who are connected to the wider drug distribution network.
The summon was reported by the agency and national press. Police have not accused him or charged him, this is just the questioning part and routine verification process.

Several media reports mention that the investigators are linking the drug operation with the party circuits in which prominent socialites and celebrities have appeared. They are targeting party organisers and other influencers.
A party organiser, Lavish, allegedly told the police officers that he has organised most of the parties attended by celebrities and following the same lead Orry’s name popped up during the enquiry and he was asked to appear.

Not the first time trouble for Orry
This isn’t the first time Orry has been in a controversy. Earlier this year, he was detained with seven other people in Jammu & Kashmir after a complaint was filed against them.
The complaint claimed that he along with the others had consumed alcohol near Vaishno Devi shrine in a hotel in Katra. Such behaviour is highly restricted and is considered no less than a crime. He was slammed all over social media for this behaviour.
Small controversies always follow him, from day to day arguments on social media to public misunderstandings. These controversies have kept him in the news as much as his celebrity friends.
While these controversies have no connection with the current case, his image is totally shaped up as someone who ends up in the middle of trouble intentionally or unintentionally.
