Shah-Rukh Khan is finally making an appearance on the silver screen after two long years of pause. The blockbuster filmmaker Siddharth Anand, who gave back to back superhit movies like Pathaan and Fighter, has finally shared a glimpse of the first look of the bollywood badshah’s upcoming movie ‘King’. The teaser was dropped on 2nd Nov, 2025, as a surprise for the fans on the occasion of SRK’s 60th birthday. SRK reshared the post in which the caption read:

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie King is definitely gearing up to be one of the Bollywood biggest action movie of 2026. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie is produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and the budget is being speculated around Rs 200 crore. No official date for the release of the movie has been announced yet but the reports suggest it to be during late 2026.
The film stars Shah Rukh in the lead role alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Arshad Warsi and Jaideep Ahlawat joining as the main cast.
What can the fans expect?
As the movie is helmed by Siddharth Anand, the man known for his jaw dropping visuals and Hollywood-level stunts, the excitement around ‘King’ is huge. In interviews, SRK teased that the film will be “very entertaining” but kept details under wraps at his director’s insistence, while Anand hinted at crafting “characters loved by the audience.”

Did SRK copy Brad Pitt’s F1 look?
Social media has gone bonkers after the teaser dropped. The teaser opens in a low light area with smoke in the background. The camera slowly pans towards Shah Rukh, indicating a rebirth or return of a ‘King’. He is carrying the ‘King of hearts’ in his mouth flipping it in style. ‘Popular among the fans as the King of Romance’, Shah Rukh is seen as a mature man with grey-hair, wearing a dark leather jacket over a plain blue shirt. A look very similar to Brad Pitt’s F1 look and fans took it to a next level of fan war.
Few of them posted on X defending Shah Rukh that Shah Rukh did it first in Harry Mets Sejal which was released in 2017, and the claims are true. Brad Pitt’s look in F1, came later in 2025. While Shah Rukh’s jacket shade slightly differs from the Hollywood actor’s look. Brad Pitt’s jacket matches the exact colour of Shah Rukh’s jacket that he wore in 2017. So who’s copying who?
Some fans even went to the extent of comparing the acting of the stars. They wrote: “Mind you Shah Rukh could play Sonny Hyes in his sleep but Brad Pitt could never even come close to scratching the surface of Kabir Khan.”
