The much anticipated teaser of the year The Devil Wears Prada 2 is finally here for the fans to take a look at. The brief 52-second teaser offers a stylish first look at the return to the world of high fashion and print media. The Teaser: An Iconic Elevator Reunion

The teaser opens with Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly making her signature grand entrance—striding down the hallway in a pair of striking red studded heels. Just as the elevator doors begin to shut, in steps Anne Hathaway’s AndreaAndySachs – slipping her hand in at the last second.

In true Miranda fashion she says it took you long enough to Hathaway. Cue the title card confirming the long-awaited return of the film’s beloved cast.

The duo of Director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna who were also behind the Devil Wears Prada will be returning for this sequel. The story would be diving into the new era media battlefield.

Miranda who is the editor-in-chief will be exploring the fashion world where print is struggling to survive and digital media is taking over. The filming would be done in New York and Italy. Thus the ambiance is going to emit fashion and style from every frame. 

In this sequel Miranda is going to face fierce competition from her former assistant – Emily Charlton. Emily is now a top executive at a global luxury brand group that holds the financial clout Runway needs to stay alive. Andy Sachs too enters the scene as an accomplished editor in her own right. This angle opens a door for  a clash of power and of course – style.
