The inflows reached a 12-month high in March 2023 at \u20b9 20,534 crores and they were at \u20b9 15,685 crores in February and at \u20b9 12,546 crores in January 2023. Meanwhile, the assets under management (AUM) of the mutual fund industry stood at \u20b9 39.42 lakh crore as on March 31, 2023.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-881060399\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>Data from Nuvama Institutional Equities (formerly Edelweiss Institutional Equities) showed that Mutual Funds bought additional shares of many blue-chip stocks in the month of March.&nbsp;<\/p><p>According to the report, they invested \u20b9 2520 crores in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/INFY\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Infosys<\/a><\/strong>, \u20b9 1870 crores in Reliance Industries, \u20b9 1380 crores in HDFC, \u20b9 1090 crores in Hindustan Aeronautics, \u20b9 990 crores in Kotak Mahindra Bank, \u20b9 780 crores in Power Grid Corporation, \u20b9 760 crores in Tata Motors, \u20b9 630 crores in Tata Consultancy Services, \u20b9 610 crores in Tata Steel, \u20b9 610 crores in Bajaj Finance and \u20b9 570 crores in Sun Pharma.&nbsp;<\/p><p>On the other hand, mutual funds trimmed their stake in large-cap stocks like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/ULTRACEMCO\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ultratech Cement<\/a><\/strong> by \u20b9 640 crores, in SRF by \u20b9 540 crores and in Max Healthcare services by \u20b9 440 crores.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2750120303\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>In the midcap and small-cap space, they lapped up shares of Sonal BLW Precision Forgings worth \u20b9 1,010 crores, <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/PHOENIXLTD\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Phoenix Mills<\/strong><\/a> worth \u20b9 430 crores, and Devyani International Worth (\u20b9270 crores). Moreover, they invested \u20b9 460 crores in Kirloskar Oil, \u20b9 370 crores in Persistent Systems and \u20b9 320 crores in Data Patterns and \u20b9 430 crores in Mahindra CIE Automotive.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Equity markets ended a 9-day rally on Monday dragged by frenzy selling by investors in major tech stocks after they disappointed the street with their results. In fact the selling in IT stocks which are index heavyweights erased the gains made in broader markets.
