They were locked at \u20b9 80.20 apiece, against their closing price of \u20b9 66.85 apiece on Wednesday.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/EMKAY\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Emkay Global Financial Services<\/a><\/strong> provides stock broking, investment banking, depository participant services, and wealth management services.\u00a0<\/p><p>According to an exchange filing, the company received in-principle approval from the SEBI for sponsoring a mutual fund. It has been directed by the regulator to incorporate an asset management company and a trustee company to set up its mutual fund business.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-4152229662\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>As per the regulations, it will have to sponsor at least 40 percent of the AMC\u2019s net worth, and its net worth should not be less than 50 crores. Moreover, the company will have to fulfil the requirements as prescribed by SEBI within a period of six months, for registering successfully.&nbsp;<\/p><p>With a market capitalization of \u20b9 165 crores, Emkay Global is a micro-cap company. It has an ideal return on equity of 18.45% and an ideal debt-to-equity ratio of 0.29.
