Consumers are open to adopting new technologies and companies are investing heavily in the required infrastructure to leverage the metaverse,&#8221; said Ashootosh Chand, Partner &#8211; Digital and Emerging Technologies, PwC India.<\/p><p>The report further said globally, businesses have started exploring partnerships with some of the leading players in the metaverse to explore business opportunities.<\/p><p>However, the metaverse ecosystem in India is still at a nascent stage.<\/p><p>&#8220;25 per cent of India respondents say that their metaverse plans will be fully embedded in their activities within a year, while 47 per cent say that this will take place in 2\u20133 years,&#8221; it said.<\/p><p>Sudipta Ghosh, Partner and Leader \u2013 Data &amp; Analytics, PwC India said, \u201cMetaverse allows organisations to be really innovative about how they can meaningfully engage with the customers, employees and the broader ecosystem.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content-10\" id=\"trade-3742100852\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_3_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"2969612066\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>As per the report, 36 per cent of those surveyed said cybersecurity poses the biggest risk for businesses in India and 28 per cent respondents felt the technological limitations could pose a challenge.<\/p><p>In the US as well, cybersecurity tops the list, followed by privacy risks, which is the third-most important risk area for India respondents.<\/p><div class=\"trade-after-content\" id=\"trade-3981599555\"><div id=\"taboola-below-article-thumbnails\"><\/div>\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n  window._taboola = window._taboola || [];\r\n  _taboola.push({\r\n    mode: 'alternating-thumbnails-a',\r\n    container: 'taboola-below-article-thumbnails',\r\n    placement: 'Below Article Thumbnails',\r\n    target_type: 'mix'\r\n  });\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n  window._taboola = window._taboola || [];\r\n  _taboola.push({flush: true});\r\n<\/script><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Almost 70 per cent of business executives in India plan to integrate the metaverse into their organisational activities, said a report by PwC India.
