And net profit surged 89% quarter-on-quarter to \u20b93,005.6 crore for the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2023. It was \u20b91,588.2 crore in Q3FY23.<\/p><p>Telecom companies require sufficient cash flow to operate. However, as competition in the industry has increased over the last two fiscal years, the company has focused on some strategies such as cost-cutting measures, acquiring quality customers, which has resulted in 7.4 million new 4G customers, and launching a competitive service plan to increase retention rate.<\/p><p>Bharti Airtel is a leading global telecommunications company with operations in countries across Asia and Africa. The company ranks amongst the top 3 mobile service providers globally in terms of subscribers. In India, the company&#8217;s product offerings include 2G, 3G, and 4G wireless services, mobile commerce, and many more services including national &amp; international long-distance services to carriers.<\/p><p>The fundamental profitability ratios exhibit operational efficiencies such as return on equity (ROE) and return on capital employed (ROCE).
