The scrip reached a fresh all-time high of \u20b9 3785.00 apiece, following an announcement by the company regarding a stock split.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-888483858\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>In an exchange filing <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/HAL\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hindustan Aeronautics Limited<\/a><\/strong> said that its board of directors will meet on June 27, 2023, to consider the proposal for the sub-division\/ split of the company\u2019s equity shares.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Companies generally go through a stock split to increase the number of outstanding shares by issuing more shares to existing shareholders. A stock split decreases the market price of shares, however, the market capitalization of a company does not change. This corporate action makes shares more affordable for new investors and increases liquidity.&nbsp;<\/p><p>HAL has almost delivered multibagger returns in the past year, as its share price gained 97.76% increasing from \u20b9 1892.95 apiece to \u20b9 3,743.45. In fact, its shares gained a massive 21.51% since the beginning of this month, as it continued its gaining streak.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-43249175\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>In a recent report, ICICI Securities highlighted that HAL\u2019s order book is likely to be boosted further. It said that the company is optimistic about securing a contract worth \u20b9 120bn for the production of 12 additional Su-30MKI multirole fighters for the Indian Air Force by next year (FY25). Moreover, the management expects contract negotiation for 240 units of AL31FP engines at \u20b9 260 billion to be concluded soon.&nbsp;<\/p><p>HAL is a large-cap stock with a market capitalization of \u20b9 1,17,952 crores. It has a high return on equity of 27.18% and a dividend yield of 1.42%.
