During the day, it rallied 4.59 per cent to Rs 280.<\/p><p>On the NSE, it climbed 3 per cent to end at Rs 275.90 per share.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-1172737667\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>In volume terms, 22.40 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE and over 1.73 crore shares on the NSE during the day.<\/p><p>Adani Power Ltd (APL) on Thursday posted an 83.3 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 8,759.42 crore for the April-June quarter on account of higher income.<\/p><p>It had reported a net profit of Rs 4,779.86 crore in the April-June period of the preceding 2022-23 fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.<\/p><p>The company&#8217;s total income surged to Rs 18,109.01 crore from Rs 15,509 crore in the year-ago quarter.<\/p><p>In a separate statement, the company said the consolidated EBITDA of the company during the first quarter was at Rs 10,618 crore, 41.5 per cent higher compared to Rs 7,506 crore in the year-ago period.<\/p><div class=\"trade-after-content\" id=\"trade-3343434189\"><div id=\"taboola-below-article-thumbnails\"><\/div>\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n  window._taboola = window._taboola || [];\r\n  _taboola.push({\r\n    mode: 'alternating-thumbnails-a',\r\n    container: 'taboola-below-article-thumbnails',\r\n    placement: 'Below Article Thumbnails',\r\n    target_type: 'mix'\r\n  });\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n  window._taboola = window._taboola || [];\r\n  _taboola.push({flush: true});\r\n<\/script><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The largest privately owned thermal power producer in India is Adani Power Limited (APL), which is a member of the diversified Adani Group.
