It exports its goods to 90 different nations.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-4033361801\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>Diversified conglomerate <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/ITC\/consolidated\">ITC Limited<\/a><\/strong> on Friday said the FMCG business has immense potential for growth with its brands commanding an annual consumer spend of Rs 29,000 crore.<\/p><p>Speaking at the 112th AGM of the company, ITC chairman Sanjiv Puri told shareholders in his address that the FMCG brands are being exported to several countries and the business vertical has immense growth potential due to the rising per capita income of the people.<\/p><p>&#8220;The ITC Next strategy for the FMCG business is to build a future-ready portfolio. With more than 25 brands at the moment, the annual consumer spend is around Rs 29,000 crore&#8221;, Puri said.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2784715845\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>He said that the addressable market for the FMCG vertical of ITC is USD five trillion. &#8220;The business has immense opportunity to harness this potential&#8221;, Puri added.<\/p><p>Regarding the hotel business, the ITC board had given in-principle approval to demerge the vertical and spin it off into a new entity.<\/p><p>Puri said that the business is well poised to capitalise on the growth potential of the tourism sector growing.<\/p><p>&#8220;We have pivoted to an asset-right strategy.
