At 01:58 PM on Tuesday, its shares were trading at \u20b9 61.85 apiece.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-3355548434\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/SJVN\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SJVN Ltd<\/a><\/strong> informed the bourses that its wholly-owned subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) has received Letters of Award from Assam Power Development Corporation Limited (APDCL) for three Solar Power Projects with a cumulative capacity of 320 MW.\u00a0<\/p><p>SGEL had participated in three separate tariff-based competitive bidding tenders of APDCL, i.e. 50 MW, 70 MW and 200 MW. The 50 MW and 70 MW projects are under the solar park category and have been allotted at a tariff of INR 3.92\/Unit and the 200 MW is to be developed anywhere in Assam and has been allotted at a tariff of INR 3.90\/Unit, as per the filing.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The solar power projects will be developed on Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis. The projects shall be commissioned in a period of 18 Months from the date of signing of the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) and are expected to be commissioned by March 2025. The PPA shall be signed between APDCL and SGEL for 25 years. The tentative cost of construction\/development of these 320 MW projects is around \u20b9 1,900 crores.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-23675107\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>The commissioning of these projects is expected to reduce 7.14 lakh tonnes of carbon emission and would contribute to the Government of India\u2019s mission of reduction in carbon emission.&nbsp;<\/p><p>In the past year, SJVN\u2019s share price increased from \u20b9 29.95 to \u20b9 63.80, delivering multibagger returns of 113 percent. Therefore, if an investor had invested \u20b9 1 lakh in the company\u2019s shares one year ago, the value of their holdings would have been \u20b9 2.13 lakh today!&nbsp;<\/p><p>With a market capitalization of \u20b9 23,893 crores, SJVN is a mid-cap company. It has a low return on equity of 7.48 percent and a debt-to-equity ratio of 1.01.
