Its shares opened at \u20b9 50.35 apiece on Friday, September 01, 2023, and settled at \u20b9 72.25 apiece on Tuesday, marking a massive rally.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-653492437\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>Incorporated in 1986, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/IRFC\/standalone?standalone=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Indian Railway Finance Corporation<\/a><\/strong> (IRFC) borrows funds from the financial markets to finance the acquisition\/creation of assets which are then leased out to the Indian Railways as finance leases.\u00a0<\/p><p>A combined 1419.29 million shares changed hands on the counter in the past three sessions, as compared to 313.53 million shares in the five days preceding this period.&nbsp;<\/p><p>According to a report by BQ Prime, more than 6.13 crore shares or 0.5 percent equity changed hands in multiple large trades at a price band of \u20b9 58.10 and \u20b9 66.90 apiece. The company has a low return on equity of 5.43 percent. Its shares were trading at a price-to-earnings ratio (P\/E) of 13.97, which is lower than the industry P\/E of 21.53, indicating that the stock might be undervalued as compared to its peers.&nbsp;<\/p><p>In the past six months, the company\u2019s share price increased by 156.21 percent, thereby delivering multibagger returns.
