During the day, it had declined 292.23 points or 0.44 per cent to 65,488.03.<\/p><p>The Nifty advanced 36.15 points or 0.18 per cent to end at 19,611.05.<\/p><p>Major gainers from the Sensex pack, Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank, Titan, ITC, UltraTech Cement, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and Kotak Mahindra Bank.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2170230772\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>Tata Steel, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, NTPC and ICICI Bank were the major laggards.<\/p><p>Seoul settled lower in Asian markets, while Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong all finished in the black.<\/p><p>European equity markets were trading lower. The US markets ended in negative territory on Tuesday.<\/p><p>Global oil benchmark Brent crude declined 0.70 per cent to USD 89.41 a barrel.<\/p><p>Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) offloaded equities worth Rs 1,725.11 crore on Tuesday, according to exchange data.<\/p><p>The BSE benchmark had climbed 152.12 points or 0.23 per cent to settle at 65,780.26 on Tuesday.
