Its shares were locked in a 20 percent upper circuit.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-1701644897\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>In the past five days, the company\u2019s share price has risen by nearly 70 percent from \u20b9 83.00 to \u20b9140.75. Experts believe that the share price reacted sharply to the positive commentary given by Rajendra Singh Pawar, the chairman and co-founder of NIIT Ltd.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/NIITLTD\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NIIT<\/a><\/strong> is an information technology services company that is engaged in providing skills and talent development solutions to individuals, enterprises and institutions.\u00a0<\/p><p>NIIT\u2019s management has set an ambitious target of achieving revenues of Rs 1,200 crore by FY27-28, according to a report by CNBC TV-18. To give perspective, the company reported revenue of \u20b9 341.25 crores in FY23 and 250.62 crores in FY22.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2167342073\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>Pawar highlighted the company&#8217;s strategic shift towards exploring new sectors to address evolving skill needs in the job market.&nbsp;<\/p><p>&#8220;We don&#8217;t see a very big uptake in new jobs in the near term. But we see the need for change in skills. We are looking for the horizon for new sectors that are emerging in this country right now,\u201d he said.&nbsp;<\/p><p>He explained that the company is looking at newer sectors to make new offerings as India is poised for growth on multiple dimensions and that work is in progress.&nbsp;<\/p><p>NIIT commands a market capitalization of \u20b9 1,577 crores and is a small-cap company. It has a low return on equity of 1.79 percent and an ideal debt-to-equity ratio of 25.46.
