This happened after it announced that it had raised \u20b9 2,000 crores.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-3887112863\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/BANKINDIA\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bank of India<\/a><\/strong> is an Indian public sector bank with over 5105 branches in India, including specialised branches. Its segments include treasury operations, wholesale banking and retail banking.\u00a0<\/p><p>The bank informed the exchanges that it has come out with an issue of Basel III Compliant Tier II Bonds amounting to \u20b9 2,000 Crore (including a base size of \u20b9 1,000 Crore and Green Shoe option of \u20b9 1,000 Crore). It received total bids of \u20b9 3,770 Crore, indicating an overwhelming response from investors and the issue was oversubscribed by 3.77 times against the base issue size. It added that it has decided to accept bids of \u20b9 2,000 crores at a coupon rate of 7.88 percent&nbsp;<\/p><p>Bank of India\u2019s share price increased from \u20b9 53.05 to \u20b9 107.80 apiece in the past year, to deliver multibagger returns of 103.20 percent. It has a low return on equity of 1.17 percent and a dividend yield of 1.93 percent.
