The Nifty dropped 36.7 points to 19,774.80.<\/p><p>Among the Sensex firms, Bajaj Finance, Power Grid, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, NTPC and Larsen &amp; Toubro were the major laggards.<\/p><p>The gainers are Tata Motors, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and Sun Pharma.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-870644486\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>In Asian markets, Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong were trading in the negative territory while Seoul quoted in the green.<\/p><p>The US markets closed on a mixed note on Tuesday.<\/p><p>Global oil benchmark Brent crude climbed 1.87 per cent to USD 91.58 a barrel.<\/p><p>According to exchange data, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought equities worth Rs 263.68 crore on Tuesday.<\/p><p>On Tuesday, the BSE benchmark had climbed 261.16 points or 0.39 per cent to settle at 66,428.09 on.
