The company is valued at Rs 3,51,935 crore on the stock exchange.\u00a0<\/p><p>On October 20, 2023, Kotak Mahindra Bank received approval from RBI to acquire 100 percent of the issued and paid-up capital of Sonata Finance Private Limited. Upon completion of the aforesaid transaction, Sonata Finance will be a Wholly-Owned subsidiary of the Kotak Bank. According to the company\u2019s exchange filing report.<\/p><p>Earlier On February 10, 2023, the Kotak Mahindra Bank had entered into share purchase agreements with the shareholders of Sonata Finance Private Limited (\u201cSonata\u201d), a Non-Banking Finance Company \u2013 a Microfinance Institution registered with the RBI, to acquire 100% of the issued and paid up capital of Sonata, for a total consideration of approximately Rs 537 crore.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-1594027460\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>The Bank\u2019s interest earned has increased by 40 percent yearly, from Rs 9,164 crore in Q1FY23 to Rs 12,868 crore in Q1FY24.
