Comparing the intra-day high price marked at Rs 3,000, the stock exhibits a gain of approximately 5 percent compared to the previous close of Rs 2,849.65 apiece.\u00a0<\/p><p>In a recent filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) dated 25th October 2023, the company intimated that it has received an order worth Rs 280 cores from \u201cTinplate Company of India Limited\u201d, a Tata Group company.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The order pertains to the process of engineering, designing, manufacturing, and supplying plant &amp; equipment for the \u2018continuous annealing line\u2019 which is to be installed at Tinplate\u2019s Jamshedpur plant.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-1421806463\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>Keeping a purview of one year, the company\u2019s stock has proven to deliver multibagger returns of around 150 percent, viz, if someone had invested Rs 1 lakh into the stock a year ago, it would have converted to Rs 2.50 lakhs.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Coming onto the recent financial numbers reported, the company registered an increase in both of the prime business indicators, viz, the operating revenues as well as net profits.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The operating revenues grew from Rs 382.78 crores during FY21-22 to Rs 483.7 crores during FY22-23, and, the net profits, during the same time horizon, moved up from Rs 4.64 crores to Rs 12.89 crores.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The latest shareholding data of the company, according to the September 2023 quarter, portrays the Promoters holding a 75 percent stake followed by the Public (retail) investors holding the remaining 25 percent stake in the company.&nbsp;<\/p><p>John Cockerill India Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing and designing machinery equipment to serve domains like energy, steelmaking, defence, and other industries.
