The new price has been in effect since midnight on March 5, The prices have been reduced due to a dip in gas input costs, the company reported.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Additionally, brokerage Citi downgraded the stock to sell and cut the target price to \u20b9 1,405 from \u20b9 1,480 apiece, with a downside of 12 percent from Wednesday\u2019s trading price of \u20b91,321 per share.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-593400838\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>Mahanagar Gas Ltd. is engaged in the business of city gas distribution, presently supplying natural gas in the city of Mumbai, including adjoining areas and the Raigad District in the state of Maharashtra.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The company\u2019s revenue has declined by 5 percent annually, from \u20b91,671 crore in Q3FY23 to \u20b91,569 crore in Q3FY24. During the same period, the company\u2019s net profit climbed by 84 percent, from \u20b9 172 crore to \u20b9 317 crore.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The company\u2019s share has delivered returns of 23 percent in six months and 34 percent in a year.&nbsp;<\/p><p>During the current fiscal year, the company entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines to develop and use hydrogen-related products and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
