As markets started pricing in a surge in virus cases and Fed&#8217;s tapering, risk assets started recovering after initial jerks and dollar weakened,&#8221; Dilip Parmar, Research Analyst, HDFC Securities.<\/p>\n<p> Parmar further said that the Indian rupee expected to outperform in the near-term following better inflows in the debt market. Local currency is likely to oscillate in the range of 74.10 to 74.50, he said.<\/p>\n<p> Brent crude futures, the global oil benchmark, rose 0.99 per cent to USD 82.80 per barrel.<\/p>\n<p> Foreign institutional investors were net sellers in the capital market on Thursday, as they offloaded shares worth Rs 1,926.77 crore, as per exchange data.
