Thereby bolstering Sasan Power\u2019s debt coverage metrics, improving liquidity, and enhance its credit rating.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Sasan Power operates a 3960 MW Ultra Mega Power Plant (UMPP) in Sasan, Madhya Pradesh, which is the world\u2019s largest integrated coal-based power plant. It boasts a captive coal mining capacity of 20 MTPA.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-1530774841\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>The plant supplies electricity to 14 Discoms distribution companies (DISCOMs) across seven states i,e., Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and New Delhi at the lowest tariff in India of Rs. 1.54 per unit, benefiting more than 40 crore people.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Reliance Power, a zero-debt firm, obtained Rs. 1,525 crore through equity-linked warrants in a recent preferential issuance. The firm is positioned to take advantage of growth prospects in the quickly growing renewable energy sector thanks to this cash injection.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Reliance Power&#8217;s financial sheet is further strengthened by the loan repayment as the business shifts its emphasis to the renewable energy industry, which is expected to spur future expansion.&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Recent Updates&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2><p>SECI withdraws the debarment notice of 3 years against Reliance Power Limited and Reliance NU BESS (New Energy Battery Energy Storage Systems), effective immediately. This will allow the company to have rights for future tenders. SECI retains its legal rights, and the earlier public notice is modified to reflect this update.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>About the Company&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2><p>Reliance Power Limited is engaged in the business of developing, constructing, and operating power projects across India as well as across borders.
