The stock retraced from its day\u2019s high and was trading at Rs 2,347.40 which is a 5 percent increase compared to the previous closing price.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What Happened<\/strong><\/h2><p>Galaxy Surfactants Limited, through its group entities, has formed a strategic collaboration with a global customer to provide EPC services. The company has over 215 product grades, 7 strategically located facilities with inhouse project execution capabilities, and is present in more than 80 countries.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Galaxy\u2019s product grades are used in consumer-centric Home and Personal care products like skin care, cosmetics, hair care, oral care and others. The company is a preferred supplier to leading MNC\u2019s, Regional and Local FMCG brands. It is also India\u2019s largest manufacturer of Oleochemical based surfactants and speciality care products for Home Care and Personal Care Industries (HPC).<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Financial Performance<\/strong><\/h2><p>In the latest quarter, Galaxy Surfactants reported a 11 percent YoY increase in its revenue from Rs 940 crore to Rs 1,042 crore. On a quarterly basis however, there was a slight decrease from Rs 1,063 crore in Q2 FY25.&nbsp;<\/p><p>There was an 8 percent YoY decline in net profits from Rs 71 crore to Rs 65 crore.
