It made a 52-week high of Rs 1,347.90 per share, trading at a discount of 35 percent, from its current market price of Rs 874 per share.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>The announcement<\/strong><\/h2><p>Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. on March 27,2025 announced that they have signed a Share Purchase Agreement with REC&#8217;s subsidiary (a Maharatna PSU) for a 100 percent stake in Mahan Transmission Limited (MTL).<\/p><p>It announced that it acquired MTL from REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) on March 26. MTL will help the company transfer 1,230 MW of power from Adani Power\u2019s upcoming 1,600 MW expansion in Mahan, Madhya Pradesh, to the state grid.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2946582333\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>The company stated that this acquisition aligns with its strategy to grow both organically and through acquisitions. REC also confirmed the transfer of its entire 50,000 equity shares in MTL to Adani Energy Solutions.<\/p><p>Adani Energy said, \u201cThis acquisition is proposed to further AESL&#8217;s strategy for enhancing value for its shareholders through organic as well as inorganic opportunities.\u201d<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Financial Highlights<\/strong><\/h2><p>The company reported a revenue of Rs 6,000.39 crore in Q3 FY25, up by 24 percent, from its Q3FY24 revenue of Rs 4,824.42 crore. It reported an EBITDA of Rs 1,831 crore, which has grown by 6 percent YoY as of Q3 FY25, It reported a net profit of Rs 625.3 crore in Q3 FY25, up by 79 percent, from its Q3FY24 net profit of Rs 348.25 crore.&nbsp;<\/p><p>It is trading at a PE ratio of 60.96x, which is significantly higher than that of its industry PE ratio of only 30.62x. It has an ROE and ROCE of 8.59 percent and 9 percent respectively.
