The order intends to design and execute a 6,000 MW, \u00b1800 kV HVDC terminal station for transmitting renewable energy from Bhadla (Rajasthan) to Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh).\u00a0<\/p><p>The project, expected to be completed by 2029, supports India&#8217;s goal of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030. This marks BHEL&#8217;s fourth UHVDC transmission project, with the company providing key equipment like converter transformers, reactors, and thyristor valves from its Electronics Division, Bengaluru.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-3295723666\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>These valves will be used to convert AC Power at Bhadla into DC power for transmitting it over an HVDC transmission line of over 950 km and then converting it back to AC at the Fatehpur end to evacuate power.
