The agreement, formalized on 26th February 2025, aims to develop the city\u2019s first Media City and strengthen Assam\u2019s presence in the global entertainment space.<\/p><p>The project is expected to drive local economic growth by creating jobs, attracting tourism, and establishing Guwahati as a hub for film, television, and cultural activities. It will include a modern Media City, a seven-star wellness resort, and an India Pavilion to showcase the country\u2019s cultural diversity.
