The company has put in place a provision for electrification of delivery vehicles in the last-mile connectivity.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;In addition to this pilot initiative in Bengaluru, we are in touch with our delivery partners for a similar deployment of EVs in other locations as well,&#8221; Apollo Tyres President (Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa) Satish Sharma said.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-4252956886\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p> The company added that it monitors its carbon footprint and reports it annually.<\/p>\n<p> The tyre maker has been making concerted efforts to reduce its footprint across its activities including the value chain, it added.<\/p>\n<p> Apollo Tyres is not only working towards increasing the share of sustainable raw materials in its products and gradually increasing the share of renewable energy in its manufacturing locations, but it is also undertaking several other initiatives towards securing a sustainable future, it stated.
