Sitharaman said.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2798155955\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p> The minister&#8217;s remarks come against the backdrop of the Federal Reserve deciding to tighten its monetary policy after a long period of easy money regime and its actions could impact fund flows into emerging markets, including India.<\/p>\n<p> Sitharaman addressed the board of Sebi in the national capital on Wednesday for the first time after the presentation of the Budget on February 1, according to a release. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Sebi Chairman Ajay Tyagi briefed\u00a0the minister about the major trends and outlook for Indian securities market, including fund raising\u00a0activities and increased participation of individual investors.<\/p>\n<p> He also apprised the finance minister about the status of implementation of last year&#8217;s Union Budget proposals\u00a0pertaining to the capital market.<\/p>\n<p> Further, Tyagi highlighted the enhanced activity of fund raising through capital market to support the overarching objective of Union Budget\u00a0towards capital formation in the economy.<\/p>\n<p> After the presentation of the Budget every year, it is customary for the finance minister to address the boards of Sebi and RBI.<\/p>\n<p> Anand Mohan Bajaj, Additional Secretary at Department of Economic Affairs;\u00a0 M Rajeshwar Rao, Deputy Governor at Reserve Bank of India;
