He will never be able to cleanse the blood of Ukraine from his hands,&#8221; Johnson said in Parliament.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Now we see him for what he is, a blood-stained aggressor who believes in imperial conquest,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p> He informed MPs that overall Britain will be imposing asset freezes on over 100 more new entities and individuals, on top of the hundreds already announced.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThis includes all the major manufacturers that support Putin\u2019s war machine. We will bring forward new legislation to ban the export of all dual-use items to Russia, including a range of high-end and critical technological equipment and components in sectors including electronics, telecommunications, and aerospace,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p> Updating Parliament on a virtual G7 meeting earlier on Thursday, he said it has been agreed to work in unity to maximise the economic price that Putin will pay for aggression.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content-10\" id=\"trade-420052554\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_3_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"2969612066\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p> \u201cAnd this must include ending Europe\u2019s collective dependence on Russian oil and gas that has served to empower Putin for too long,\u201d said Johnson.<\/p>\n<p> Under the latest sanctions regime, the aim is to totally exclude Russian banks from accessing Pound Sterling and clearing payments through the UK.<\/p>\n<p> With around half of Russia\u2019s trade currently in US dollars and sterling, Johnson said he was pleased that the United States is taking similar measures.<\/p>\n<p> The sanctions will also be applied to Belarus for its role in the \u201cassault\u201d on Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe will continue on a remorseless mission to squeeze Russia from the global economy piece by piece, day by day and week by week. And we will of course use Britain\u2019s position in every international forum to condemn the onslaught against Ukraine, and we will counter the Kremlin\u2019s blizzard of lies and disinformation by telling the truth about Putin&#8217;s war of choice and war of aggression,\u201d said Johnson.<\/p>\n<p> He also announced a new dedicated \u201cKleptocracy Cell\u201d in the UK\u2019s National Crime Agency (NCA) to target sanctions evasion and corrupt Russian assets hidden in the UK, which will mean that Russian billionaire oligarchs in London have \u201cnowhere to hide\u201d.
