We are very eager about this launch and introducing Thomson\u2019s air conditioners to the Indian market with our strategic partner Flipkart&#8221;.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-3863664636\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;In five years, Thomson will be investing Rs 500 crore in home appliances alone and by the end of three years, we plan to achieve 10 per cent of the online AC market.&#8221; \tThe company is aggressively looking at India\u2019s home appliance market, which is one of the fastest-growing.<\/p>\n<p>According to Marwah, there is enough headroom to grow into the Indian market in the residential AC segment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Globally, an average penetration of air conditioner segment is 30 per cent as compared to India\u2019s at a meagre 4 per centre. This gives us a huge pitch of opportunity to play at,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the growing economy and changing lifestyles, among other factors, have increased the need for products such as AC that offers comfort and convenience.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The country is also witnessing soaring temperatures and heat records, during the summer season over the last decade, all this has presented a huge opportunity for global brands to enter this segment,&#8221; Marwah said.<\/p>\n<p>Thomson price range for ACs starts at Rs 26,490.
