I am, therefore, unable to discharge my responsibilities with regard to the certification of accounts of these PSUs as required under CAG\u2019s (DPC) Act 1971\u201d, Comptroller and Auditor General of India Girish Chandra Murmu said in his audit observations.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-1677288298\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>During 2020-21 fiscal, 608 UCs amounting to Rs 15,911.62 crore were not submitted by bodies and authorities of the state as against the grant-in-aid provided by the Bihar government, the CAG said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, 3,278 UCs totalling Rs 76,775.69 crore, due for submission up to 2019-20, were also outstanding by the end of March 2021, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThus, a total of 3,886 UCs amounting to Rs. 92,687.31 crore were due for submission as on March 31, 2021,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>The high pendency of UCs is \u201cfraught with risk of misappropriation of fund\u201d, the CAG said.<\/p>\n<p>The major defaulting departments are panchayati raj, education and social welfare, the report added.
