She has two decades of experience in technology and digital lifestyle from companies such as Twitter, Google, Conde Nast, Samsung, Microsoft and Cisco.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;I am thrilled to be stepping into a new adventure as CEO of Terrascope, a climate-tech company focused on helping large enterprises on their Net Zero journey via smart carbon SAAS platform, backed by @Olam,\u201d she said in a tweet.<\/p>\n<p> Hari said she was &#8220;excited&#8221; to be at the forefront of this transformation via Terrascope. Terrascope, one of the most promising climate-tech ventures today, addresses a very real problem many companies face in their climate action strategies.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-3608013671\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p> \u201cWhile a growing number is commendably committing to net zero, most are unable to make a real impact because they underestimate the challenges in measuring, managing and reporting their data along the way. Terrascope simplifies that journey for them,\u201d she said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p> Terrascope addresses two key challenges companies face in their decarbonisation journey, namely the speed and accuracy of data collected; and capturing Scope 3 emissions, which are the indirect emissions across the value chain typically constituting the bulk of a company\u2019s carbon footprint.<\/p>\n<p> Its data science and machine-learning platform enables companies to do both while giving management the ability to track progress through centralised dashboards to better chart their decarbonisation journey.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe are seeing strong demand for Terrascope\u2019s solutions and are delighted to welcome a strong and experienced leader like Maya to lead the business and to steer it to the next phase of growth,\u201d said Suresh Sundararajan, CEO of Olam Ventures.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWith Maya at the helm, I am confident Terrascope will grow from strength to strength and help more companies achieve their net-zero ambitions,\u201d he said. Earlier this year, the company appointed Mathavan Arugalaimuthu as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Terrascope.<\/p>\n<p> The Terrascope platform powers Olam&#8217;s emissions measurement, demonstrating clear improvements in accuracy and measurement cycles. The platform has subsequently completed multiple pilots across the food and beverage sector in the UK and Asia.
