They are concerned about possible layoffs that may happen after musk takes over.<\/p><p>\u201cIn this moment, we operate Twitter as we always have,\u201d he said, adding that \u201chow we run the company, the decisions we make, and the positive changes we drive \u2014 that will be on us, and under our control,\u201d said Twitter\u2019s India born CEO Parag Agrawal who took over the helm of the social networking giant just five months ago.<\/p><p>As per a Reuters news report, Musk in a securities filing on April 14 had said he did not have confidence in Twitter&#8217;s management.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-148811506\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>According to research firm Equilar,&nbsp; CEO Parag Agrawal would get an estimated $42 million if he were terminated within 12 months of a change in control at the social media company.<\/p><p>This estimate includes a year\u2019s worth of Agrawal\u2019s base salary plus accelerated vesting of all equity awards, based on&nbsp; Musk\u2019s offering price of $54.20 per share and terms in the company&#8217;s recent proxy statement.<\/p><p>Agrawal told employees that he estimated the deal might take three to six months to complete, according to The American daily, which listened to the meeting.<\/p><p>Agrawal is \u201cexpected to remain in charge at least until the deal closes,\u201d as per a New York Times report.<\/p><p>The 37-year-old CEO told employees that their stock options would convert to cash when the deal closes. Employees would receive the same benefits packages for a year after the deal was finalised, as per the report.<\/p><p>\u201cThe world is watching us right now, even more than they have before. Lots of people are going to have lots of different views and opinions about today\u2019s news.
