In the quarter ended 31 March 2022, it reported a consolidated net profit of&nbsp; \u20b9 2,419.51 crores, as compared to&nbsp; \u20b9 1,346.64 crores during the same period last year.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-14371872\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>The company said that this was its highest ever consolidated profit. However, its shares plunged 6.15% on Wednesday\u2019s intraday trades and are currently trading at \u20b9 6,795 apiece.<\/p><p>The company\u2019s net interest income increased by 30 per cent to Rs 6,068 crore from \u20b9 4,659 crores YoY. It reported its highest ever profit after tax of \u20b9 7,028 crores. It announced a dividend of \u20b9 20 per share. The record date for the payment of this dividend is July 1, 2022.<\/p><p>On a consolidated basis, the total AUM of the company grew 29 per cent to \u20b91.97 trillion as of 31 March as compared to \u20b9 53,322 crores during the same period last year.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-1071740576\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>Here\u2019s what brokerages have to say:<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sharekhan<\/strong><\/h3><p>The brokerage firm has maintained a buy rating on the shares of Bajaj Finance and has a target price of \u20b9 9,097 apiece. This translates to an upside of 33.88%.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ICICI Direct<\/strong><\/h3><p>ICICI Direct has a buy call on the shares of Bajaj Finance with a target price of \u20b9 9,500. The time period by which the share price can achieve this target as per the analyst is one year. This implies an upside of 39.81%<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Motilal Oswal&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3><p>The brokerage has maintained a buy rating on the shares of the company with a target price of \u20b9 8350 apiece. This translates to an upside of 22.85%.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kotak Securities<\/strong><\/h3><p>It has maintained a sell call on the with a fair value of \u20b9 6500, up from 6350 earlier. This implies a downside of 4.34%. They say that the company has missed their expectations.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CLSA<\/strong><\/h3><p>Broking house CLSA has changed its rating to&nbsp; &#8216;sell&#8217; on the stock and cut the target price to \u20b9 6,000 per share since Bajaj Finance has missed its PAT estimates by 9%.
