BFS, the holding company of various financial businesses under the Bajaj group, had reported a net profit of Rs 979 crore in the year-ago period.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-1663530185\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div>\n<p>Its consolidated total income rose 22.5 per cent to Rs 18,862 crore during the January-March period of 2021-22, from Rs 15,387 crore a year ago, Bajaj Finserve said in a regulatory filing.<\/p>\n<p>The consolidated numbers include the results of Bajaj Finance Ltd (BFL), Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co Ltd (BAGIC) and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co Ltd (BALIC).<\/p>\n<p>The company said it has recorded its highest-ever assets under management and annual consolidated profit after tax in 2021-22.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-1023609781\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>BAGIC maintained its market position and underwriting discipline where most peers continued to chase market share, it said, adding the general insurer also recorded its highest-ever gross written premium and profit after tax during the year.<\/p>\n<p>BALIC continued its excellent performance and recorded industry-beating growth of 49 per cent in individual rated new business premium in FY22, BFS said.<\/p>\n<p>It also recorded the highest-ever gross written premium and strong growth in new business value in FY22.<\/p>\n<p>Bajaj Finserv said the board of directors of the company approved a dividend of Rs 4 per share for the financial year ended March 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The total amount of dividend is Rs 64 crore, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of the company traded at Rs 14,994.70 apiece on BSE, up by 1.12 per cent from the previous close.
