The shares then rallied 270.39 per cent to Rs 603.75. On NSE, the company debuted at Rs 570, zooming 249.69 per cent.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-3128999411\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/SIGACHI\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sigachi Industries<\/a> shares broke the record of <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/PARAS\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paras Defence and Space Technologies<\/a>, which earlier listed on the NSE\u00a0 around 170% premium from its IPO issue price of \u20b9175 apiece.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Sigachi Industries price range for the Rs 125.42 crore offer was at a price band of Rs 161-163 per share. The purpose of the issue was to fund capital expenditure for expansion of production capacity for microcrystalline cellulose at Dahej and Jhagadia, to manufacture Croscarmellose Sodium at Kurnool and for general corporate purposes.<\/p><p>Sigachi Industries limited is engaged in manufacturing microcrystalline cellulose which is widely used as an excipient for finished dosages in the pharmaceutical industry. The inert, non-reactive, free-flowing and versatile nature of MCC has varied applications in the pharmaceutical, food, nutraceuticals and cosmetic industries.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2166341704\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>The IPO received bids for 54,89,47,440 shares against 53,86,500 shares on offer, as per NSE consolidated data.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Qualified institutional buyers had bought shares 86.51 times the portion set aside for them, and non-institutional investors had put in bids 172.43 times a part set aside for them.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The reserved portion of retail investors was subscribed 80.49 times. The initial public offer of Sigachi Industries received a whopping 101.91 times subscription earlier this month.<\/p><p>\u201cAt the upper end of the IPO price band, Sigachi Industries Ltd. is offered at price to earnings (PE) of 15.1 times its TTM earnings, with a market capitalization of \u20b95,011 million.
