During the day, the stock tanked 5.88 per cent to Rs 3,176.<\/p>\n<p>L&amp;T Infotech also declined 3.13 per cent to settle at Rs 4,449.45. During the day, it declined 3.90 per cent to Rs 4,413.65.<\/p>\n<p>Aiming at bigger deals from clients looking for digital services, L&amp;T Group on Friday announced the merger of L&amp;T Infotech and Mindtree, which will create the country&#8217;s sixth largest information technology company with a combined revenue of USD 3.5 billion.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-1386587534\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>The engineering, projects and construction major, which already owns a majority stake in both the companies, said as per the all-stock deal, shareholders of Mindtree will get 73 shares of LTI (L&amp;T Infotech) for every 100 shares they hold. L&amp;T will hold 68.73 per cent in the merged entity which will be called &#8216;LTIMindtree&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The merger is expected to be completed in the next 11 months after required approvals.
