She retired as Executive Director from the Reserve Bank of India in October 2020.<\/p>\n<p>        As an ED of the RBI, she was in-charge of the Department of Regulation (DoR) where she dealt with the regulatory framework for various entities in the financial sector, covering all categories of banks and non-banking finance companies.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2711872725\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>        She was instrumental in putting in place a framework for a regulatory Sandbox to provide an enabling environment for fintech players to foster innovation in financial services and played a significant role in the amalgamation of banks in stress, the bank said.<\/p>\n<p>        She also represented RBI and played an important role as a member of the Insolvency Law Committee set up by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
