The ace investor passed away early in the morning on Sunday, due to a cardiac arrest.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-605003181\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>According to Forbes, the market mogul was India\u2019s 36th richest person in 2021 and the 438th richest man in the world, so far in 2022.<\/p><p>He had a stake in 47 companies at the end of the June quarter. Some of his significant holdings include companies like Star Health, Titan, Rallis India, Escorts, Canara Bank, Indian Hotels Company, Agro Tech Foods, Nazara Technologies, and Tata Motors.<\/p><p><strong>Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to express grief over his death. His journey as a stock market investor started in 1985, while he was still in college, with a capital of \u20b9 5,000. The BSE Sensex was at 150 points then, while it is at 59,462 points currently.<\/p><p>Rakesh Jhunjhunwala would hear his father, an income-tax officer, discussing the stock market with his friends. As a result, he developed an interest in the stock market and wished to pursue a career in the same. Though he was a chartered accountant by profession, he chose the markets over accounting and auditing.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Investments in multibaggers<\/strong><\/h4><p>The ace investor made a massive profit of \u20b9 5,00,00 in 1986 when he bought 5,000 shares of Tata Tea at \u20b943 apiece and sold them within three months at \u20b9143 each. In the next three years, he made huge profits and accumulated anywhere between \u20b9 20 lakhs to \u20b9 25 lakhs.<\/p><p>During his long career in the stock market, he invested in many stocks that turned out to be multibaggers. In 2002-03, the ace investor invested in Titan Company Limited\u2019s shares at \u20b9 3 each. These shares are currently trading at \u20b9 2472 levels. He owns 4.48 crore shares worth \u20b9 11,086.9 crores.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>More than just a stock market enthusiast<\/strong><\/h4><p>Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was on the board of directors of big companies like Prime Focus Ltd, Geojit BNP Paribas financial services, Praj Industries, Concord Biotech and so on. In fact, he also produced movies like \u2018English-Vinglish\u2019, \u2018Shamitabh\u2019, and \u2018Ki and Ka\u2019. Further, he was the chairman of Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trader as well as investor<\/strong><\/h4><p>The Big Bull considered himself to be a trader as well as a long-term investor. Long-term trading is for long-term capital formation. Trading is what gives you the capital to invest. My trading also helps my investing in the sense I use a lot of technical analysis for trading at times.<\/p><p>If the stock is overpriced, I should sell but my trading skills tell me that the stock can remain overvalued or get more overvalued.
