The stock surpassed its previous 52-week high of \u20b9 550.15 apiece that it had touched on Friday, following the Adani Group\u2019s plans to infuse \u20b9 20,000 crores in the company.\u00a0<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-1781304649\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>Ambuja Cement\u2019s new board, on September 15, 2022, approved an infusion of \u20b9 20,000 crores in the company by way of preferential allotment of 477.5 million convertible warrants at a price of \u20b9 419 to Harmonia Trade and Investment (promoter entity) on a preferential basis. It said that the issuance of warrants can be exercised and converted into equity shares in one or more tranches within 18 months.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The Adani Group has completed the acquisition of Ambuja Cements and its subsidiary ACC. With this, it has become the country\u2019s second-largest cement player. <\/p><p>The boards of Ambuja Cements and its subsidiary, ACC, were reconstituted on Friday. Gautam Adani was appointed as the chairman of Ambuja Cements while his elder son Karan Adani was named as a director of both the cement firms and chairman of ACC.\u00a0<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-760279055\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>The new promoters of the company have stated that they want to double the group\u2019s cement capacity in the next five years and become the largest and most efficient cement company by 2030. The company has exposure to energy and logistics and the management believes that this will help them to improve cost dynamics and gain supply chain efficiencies.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Motilal Oswal Financial Securities commented that this approval signal\u2019s the promoters\u2019 intent for growth and commitment to further investments in the cement business.
