Investors make money from dividends, irrespective of the market condition, even when stocks are trading sideways or are showing a downward trend.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The ex-date and the record date are two significant dates when it comes to dividends or any other corporate action. The ex-date sequentially comes before the record date. It has declared an interim dividend at 150 per cent of the face value of its shares of \u20b9 10 each, i.e., \u20b9 15 per share. <\/p><p>The record date for this purpose is November 16, 2022, and the shares will start trading ex-dividend on November 15, 2022.
