Switch Enterprises, LLC, USA, along with its subsidiaries are collectively referred to as &#8216;Switch&#8217;.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-342422471\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;The total purchase consideration payable for acquisition of Switch is USD 58.8 million, or Rs 486.3 crore, subject to customary closing adjustments,&#8221; the company said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our combined forces of The Switch&#8217;s strong presence in North America and Tata Communications&#8217; global position will create a formidable powerhouse in the global media ecosystem helping enterprises harness emerging digital consumption patterns to drive innovation and disruption.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In addition, The Switch production infrastructure as a service model will allow Tata Communications customers to accelerate adoption of remote production from any event around the world,&#8221; Tata Communications, Chief Strategy Officer, Tri Pham said.<\/p>\n<p>Acquisition of Switch will provide direct upsell opportunity for Tata Communications&#8217; offerings, which will drive incremental expansion of Tata Communications&#8217; video connect business as well as expand our leading presence in the media ecosystems in Europe and North America.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As the media industry evolves, The Switch has an ever larger role to play in the future of live sports and entertainment and in helping our customers maximise their lucrative content.
