In the last five days, the shares of the company have been hitting the upper circuit and have gained approximately 25 percent.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_7\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-184197139\"><!-- Composite Start --> \r\n <div id=\"M923760ScriptRootC1549812\"> \r\n <\/div> \r\n <script src=\"https:\/\/jsc.mgid.com\/t\/r\/tradebrains.in.1549812.js\" async> \r\n <\/script> \r\n <!-- Composite End --><\/div><p>The stock gained after Reliance Retail, the retail arm of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.tradebrains.in\/stock\/RELIANCE\/consolidated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reliance Industries<\/a><\/strong> announced that it will acquire a 51 percent majority stake in the company. In addition to that, the company also plans to make an open offer to buy up to 26 percent additional stake.&nbsp;<\/p><p>As per the details of the agreement, Reliance Retail will acquire 6.5 lakh equity shares of the confectioner at a price per share of Rs 113 aggregating to Rs 74 crore.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Lotus Chocolate Company Ltd is engaged in the business of manufacturing chocolates, and cocoa products under its consumer products and gifting segments.
