The Vizag expansion as well as the 9 MTPA unit in Rajasthan expected by 2024-end, would bridge the gap.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content_5\" id=\"trade-2725122382\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- in_content_2_news -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4023722985638610\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7925020301\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\r\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><p>Joshi said HPCL&#8217;s residue upgradation project at Vizag refinery will improve its distillate yield and will be ready by the end of 2023.<\/p><p>To expand profitability, the firm is setting up an oil-to-chemical plant linked to its Vizag refinery and building a 5 MTPA gas import terminal at Chhara in Gujarat. While the LNG terminal will be mechanically ready by March, breakwater and pipeline to evacuate the gas will take some time.
