The highway will span 160.18 km across 2 packages and is expected to cut travel time down to 2.5 hours.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The coastal region of Odisha, home to temple towns, major ports, and fishing zones has required a dedicated high-speed highway corridor for a long time. The cabinet has approved the construction of a new coastal highway from Rameshwar to Paradeep under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. This ~<strong>160.18 km<\/strong> corridor, will be structured across 2 packages, carries an estimated cost of <strong>\u20b98,300.79 crore<\/strong> and will be constructed on the <strong>Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM)<\/strong> with a concession period of <strong>17.5 years<\/strong>.
