Located in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial District, the district is moving from being a planned industrial hub to becoming a manufacturing one. The move was further solidified by the announcement of two big electronics manufacturing ventures in Yamuna City made by both Yogi Adityanath and Ashwini Vaishnaw. The two industrial projects mentioned above fall under the umbrella of the electronics manufacturing cluster (EMC) being set up in the <strong>YEIDA area of Sector-10.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ascent-k-circuit-3-250-crore\" style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>ASCENT-K Circuit: \u20b93,250 crore\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>ASCENT-K Circuit is a partnership between<strong> Indian partners and South Korean firm KCC, <\/strong>which aims to develop an ultra-modern <strong>PCB manufacturing plant <\/strong>at <strong>Yamuna City, Jewar<\/strong>. This project would aim at decreasing India&#8217;s dependency on imported PCBs.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-4180641338\"><div translate=\"no\" class='mailmunch-forms-widget-1169732'><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-amber-enterprises-3-500-crore\" style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>AMBER Enterprises: \u20b93,500 Crore\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>AMBER Enterprises is setting up an extensive electronics manufacturing unit, which will require a capital investment of about <strong>\u20b93,500 crore<\/strong> in the same<strong> industrial belt of Yamuna City, Jewar.<\/strong> This initiative is expected to enhance the electronics landscape of the region by going beyond manufacturing circuits and incorporating electronics and appliances manufacturing as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant will be dedicated to the production of components for <strong>HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems) <\/strong>as well as the assembly of <strong>PCBs<\/strong>. The other activities will involve providing services of integration of <strong>electronics for consumer appliances, industrial cooling systems, and general electronics manufacture<\/strong>. This includes one semiconductor fabrication unit, two compound semiconductor fabs, and nine packaging plants, all having an investment pipeline of approximately<strong> \u20b91.64 lakh crore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This clearly shows a move away from assembly-focused manufacturing of electronics to that of manufacturing of the actual components.
